- It
takes a 6-8 person steering committee and a 10-week head start to
make an event a success.
- It
is strongly recommended that you consider offering both a whitetail
bowhunting seminar and then the keynote presentation. There is usually
a better response.
- Printed
tickets are a must. If you are promoting a free event you must distribute
20% more tickets than you have seats.
- Charging
a small fee ($5) sometimes helps insure attendance.
- Run
newspaper article(s) no more than 10 days prior to event.
- You
should plan on using a response card that the attendee fills out with
name, etc. Card should include 2 boxes that can be checked stating
(1) he/she prayed with Wade and accepted Christ and (2) I'd like more
information about your church. Guests should fill them out after Wade
speaks and before door prizes.
These slips should be filled out after the keynote and folded in half
to be picked up for the door prize drawing.
- You
must have a follow-up team to reach those who accept Christ.
